Equipment Information
The Med 2000 Iris, manufactured by Meditherm Inc., is a state of the art Clinical Infared Camera. It utilizes advanced Digital Infared Thermal Imaging (DITI) technology.
The camera used DOES NOT:
- Come in contact with the body
- Use RADIATION
- Cause Pain
Interpretation
The digital thermal images are taken and electronically transported to Certified Medical Doctors for interpretation. They evaluate the images and provide the patient with a written report with their findings along with a copy of all color images taken during the screening procedure. The patient will be advised to review his or her report with his or her healthcare provider so that doctor can advise appropriately.
